I'm a biotechnology undergraduate at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, with hands-on lab experience in genetics and molecular biology. I'm now teaching myself to bring computational tools — Python, data analysis, sequence analysis — into that work, aiming toward computational genomics.
About
01My background is wet-lab: gel electrophoresis, PCR, and DNA extraction, sharpened over two internships this year at the National Institutes of Health, Pakistan and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council. That work is where I first ran into the limits of doing biology by hand — and where the pull toward computational tools started.
I'm currently early in that transition: comfortable with lab technique, still building the programming and data-analysis side. This site tracks that shift honestly — what I've done, and what I'm actively learning next.
